With today's sun and rain over the past few days, the snapdragons, zinnias, and salvia have become to blossom in the Children's Garden making for a beautiful scene. Of course the volunteers have made it possible by helping to maintain the Garden.
The credit for the nice appearance of the Children's Garden really goes to SCBG part-time staff member Ginny Steadman, our Children's Garden manager who works with the Garden's education programs.
Over the last couple of years, her efforts have been sponsored by the support of Master Gardeners of the Foothills, Lake and Hills Garden Club, and the Salem Iris Garden Club, as well as SCBG Education Programs and Sprouting Wings.
Volunteer assistance is very much welcome in the Children's Garden, however, as there's always lots to do!
